Strawberries are one of my son’s favourite berries!

I really wanted to make a simple snack, that I knew he would love, that is also topped with goodness to nourish.

I have introduced my son to cashew butter before and he does like it, and, as It happens, cashew butter works perfectly with strawberries.

I like the idea of giving my son this snack as it may fill him up for more than 5 minutes. I find if I give him 3-4 that is enough for him. Some days he will only want 2 halves. You will have to see how hungry your little one is.

These snacks are not just great for your kids they are a great snack for you and your family.

The flaxseed topping is a nice addition that’s adds in the omega 3, great If your little one is following a plant based diet.

These strawberries are so tasty your little ones will love them!

    Ingredient information

Strawberries - Delicious and sweet, a perfect snack or as part of a breakfast.

Cashew butter - So tasty, and lovely to introduce cashews to your little ones. I use the M&S cashew butter, 100% nuts.

Flaxseed - Lovely to be able to give your little ones some omega 3 without them even really noticing!

    Storage Instructions

The strawberries can be kept in the fridge for up to 3 days. They are best eaten straight away. If you wanted to cover all the strawberries with the cashew butter, store in the fridge, and then when you’re ready to eat sprinkle with the flaxseed, this would be best.
