If you are celebrating St. George’s day this is such a great healthy grazing board that will be delicious to snack on throughout the day, great if a party or gathering goes on for a long time!
if you’re anything like me and always reaching for the snacks for your toddler, you have an all day snack plate for all the family to enjoy.

You can of course top this platter up throughout the day if you need to. Or if you have friends or family coming over this would make a great healthy themed platter.
You can of course choose your own preferred snacks to make up the flag, and make this platter your own, but I like the fact that this platter really does cover it when it comes to vitamins, minerals and antioxidants!
Can I Use Other Snack Options?
You can definitely use other snacks like different fruits to create the St. George's flag. For a white and red food theme representing the flag, you can consider using strawberries, raspberries, watermelon, apples and bananas.
These fruits' vibrant colours can beautifully mimic the classic flag design, adding a creative and appetising touch to your spread.

Ingredient information
Pear - Pears are super high in fibre, so a great snack for little ones!
Ground almonds - Great flavour to add to the pear, and adds some texture and grip if you are serving to a baby/toddler.
Dragon fruit - Packed full of vitamins, mineral and antioxidants! Worth a try if you haven’t already!
Sourdough bread - Sourdough is better for you to eat than regular white bread as it’s more nutritious and easier to digest than white bread.
Cream cheese - Cream cheese is great whipped with a touch of milk! Therefore great for dipping.
Butter beans - Another protein packed bean alongside vitamins and minerals. These are great snacks for babies and toddlers.
Sesame seeds - A great source of manganese and calcium, so great for growing bones in little ones!
Strawberries - Great for vitamin C and a tasty sweet treat.
Raspberries - One benefit of raspberries is that they are potassium rich which makes for a delicious healthy snack.
Serving suggestion
This snack board is designed to graze on throughout the day!
This means that all your kids snacks are sorted for the day. If you’re having a St. George’s day party for example.
This will not only look great but provides healthy snacks for your guests, and little ones.

Storage instructions
If you do have any leftovers, you can pack everything away in separate airtight containers and leave in the fridge for the next day.

Recipe | St. George's Day Grazing Snack Bites For Weaning
This will feed a family of 4
2 pears, peeled and sliced
1 teaspoon ground almonds
1 dragon fruit, peeled and sliced
2 slices of white sourdough bread, sliced into fingers
1 teaspoon of cream cheese
1 400g tin butter beans, drained
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
16-17 Strawberries, leaves removed
16 Raspberries
Instructions
Assemble the pear slices in a corner of the rectangular plate. The plate will represent the flag.
Sprinkle over the ground almonds.
Take your dragon fruit and place next to the pear slices in another corner of the plate.
Load the bread fingers in another corner of the plate, placing the teaspoon of cream cheese on the corner of the plate next to the slices.
Lastly, place the butter beans in the final corner, and sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
Place your strawberries from one side of the middle of the plate to the other, and then down the middle.
Follow with the raspberries in between the strawberries!

Recipe notes
Another great ingredient to use if you can get your hands on them, is white strawberries, these would look good as part of the white flag! You could also use flaked almonds or banana slices.
