This recipe for peach tartlets is so delicious and easy to make! Makes for the perfect summer dessert.

If you and your little one love a pastry then this recipe is for you!

The sweetness of the slices of peaches against the nuttiness of the hazelnut butter is so yummy!

I like to make recipes simple, which is why I have started with the ready rolled puff pastry for this tart recipe. I have mentioned below but store own brand pastry is really good and you can purchase for a fraction of the cost.

I really wanted to give my toddler a pastry but most are packed full of sugar! I wanted to create a pastry crust that has no added sugar but that was equally as tasty as the store bought pastries.

I also like the fact that I can enjoy one of these pastries too with my son, It can be a mid morning snack or as part of a substantial dessert which is a great idea! A really versatile recipe that you can use when you need!

This recipe is Vegan and Dairy free too which is great if your little ones are following those diets.

    Hazelnut Butter

Hazelnut butter is a great option for baby-led weaning. Packed with healthy fats, protein, and a delightful nutty flavour, this spread makes a wonderful addition to your little one's meals.

Smooth or crunchy, hazelnut butter can be enjoyed on its own or used to add flavour and nutrition to a variety of dishes.

Spread it on toast, mix it into porridge, or use it as a dip for fresh fruit and vegetables.

Just be mindful of any nut allergies in your family and introduce hazelnut butter cautiously. With its creamy texture and mild taste, this versatile ingredient is sure to become a staple in your baby-led weaning repertoire.

This is such a delicious recipe that you must give a go!

    Ingredient information

Peaches - Fresh peaches are great, and usually the best peaches, but I find it is really hard to find ripe peaches, and most likely have to peel them. This is why canned peaches which is great, and great to have in the store cupboard. This recipe is great if you have a leftover peach to use up.

I have the fruit stored in fruit juice rather than the syrup as I do not want my toddler having too much sugar! You could blitz the peaches in a food processor for a pureed texture.

Puff Pastry - This is great ready rolled, if you use store-bought puff pastry own brand. The puff pastry sheets are just as good as branded pastry and it is quite a bit cheaper.

Hazelnut butter - I love hazelnut butter and it actually works so nicely with the peaches, If you had a smooth peanut butter you could use that too!

Rolled oats - I like the fact the rolled oats finish the tarts off nicely and they are nutritious too!

Unsalted butter - You could use an egg wash if you wanted to or your vegan butter or margarine of your choice.
