Fresh Strawberries - Strawberries are a staple in my household. They are so versatile as you can eat them washed, mashed, pureed or cooked.
Sweet or savoury they are perfect with plain natural Greek yogurt.
Blackberry - I was worried about giving these to my toddler because of all the seeds, but he had no problems and inhaled them!
They are great as a snack or similar to strawberries, mashed, pureed or cooked.
Natural Greek yogurt - I don’t know about you but my son has regular yogurt every single day, It is so versatile and you will see I use yogurt in many of my recipes as it is so nutritious for babies.
If you wanted to substitute for a dairy-free option these bars are just as delicious with a dairy-free yogurt. One of my suggestions would be “The Coconut Collab”.
Serving suggestion
These are great served on their own as an easy snack, dessert or to help with teething gums.
If you did want to serve with something I would suggest with a teaspoon of nut butter that is 100% nut such as almond butter for dipping.

Once these are made they can be stored in the freezer.
They can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months in an airtight container or in a freezer-safe bag.
From 6 months old, you can leave the frozen yogurt bars out of the freezer for a few minutes to soften slightly.

These are sold as ice stick freezer moulds for water bottles but I love how versatile they are in my kitchen! As you can see.

Recipe | Berry Frozen Greek Yogurt Bars For Baby Led Weaning
Makes 4 bars
1 strawberry, mashed
1 blackberry, mashed
2 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt
Instructions
Mash the strawberry and blackberry in separate bowls using a fork.
Using a spoon place the mashed fresh berries in a thin layer to each mould.
Add the plain yogurt to the tops of the fruit.
Using a knife level the yogurt.
Freeze for minimum of food 4 hours.
